Occony introduces The Living Workspace, our latest collaboration with designer Robert Bronwasser. The Living Workspace is a modern workspace concept, inspired by nature, with organic shapes and smart solutions that promote functionality, connection and well-being, even in the most business-like environments.
The Living Workspace is a modular system that is customizable in size, direction, composition and color & finishes. It acts as an innovative replacement for conventional workplaces and promotes innovation, social interaction, and various forms of collaboration. As well, it offers the opportunity to create quiet, ergonomic workplaces for individual work.
Our workplaces are acoustically optimized, electrically height-adjustable, and comply with the NPR 1813 and NEN 527 guidelines for sit-stand workplaces.

The Living Workspace is available in a number of standard configurations, where the desktoptop-width and -direction can be adjusted. From here you can compose endlessly and in any desired direction and need.
All parts are reassembleable and suitable for recycling.

Acoustic dividers are supplied in same desktop width and are standard 60 cm high. Desktops can be placed in two directions , parallel or perpendicular to the worktop width.

Delivery and assembly on location
Materialen
We select and test the best and most sustainable, circular materials for our furniture with the greatest care. We draw up a raw materials passport for each piece of furniture.
The acoustic parts are made from recycled post-consumer PET. The core of the worktop is recycled chipboard.
Upholstered finishes in recycled wool (Danzica Dama) or recycled PET fabric (Vescom Avon, Norfolk or Wilson) with a recycled paper core.
Materials & colors
At The Living Workspace you choose color and finish for the desktop, partition, 'base' of the workstations and cover plate/tube.
The desktop is made of veneer, melamine or HPL. Dividers are made of recycled wool (50 colors), a recycled PET fabric (3 fabric groups, 50 colors) or an alternative fabric group of your choice. The acoustic base is made of recycled PET (30 colors).
Wooden parts are made to match using a color within the range of Occony colors.
